I had previously self-published two photography books and was wanting to do another. I seemed to be lacking the drive to do this and Charmaine suggested coaching to help accomplish this project. Through the coaching process, Charmaine helped me identified two things that were hindering me: accountability and commitment.  I needed to be accountable to a person to jump start this project. I needed to set some goals and do a few assignments to inspire me (such as photographing, and listing some reasons why I wanted to and needed to do this book). Also, the commitment had to be made to follow through. This was a difficult decision to make because I knew once I made the commitment I must complete the project. Well, I did commit to the project and on Jan 22 I mailed my book off to the printer. Dear Charmaine,        I just had to write you to let you know just how much your coaching has meant to me and to my business!  As a busy work-at-home homeschooling mom , I always have so many things going on at once.  I am pretty organized and I keep a notebook with me at all times for those moments when inspiration strikes.  Unfortunately, with so much going on, it is sometimes difficult for me to sort out and prioritize things.            When I first heard about Victory Coaching, I had only heard of coaching for athletes and exclusive mentoring programs offered to people wanting to get into real estate or stock market investing.  This sort of coaching doesn’t come cheap!  Then I saw your free session.  At first I was excited that I might be able to take advantage of your expertise, but then I felt that it might be taking advantage of you.  I knew that I couldn’t afford this type of coaching.  After talking with you via email, I was amazed to find that you really were affordable!         I was so excited about my first phone appointment because you were so professional in your correspondence with me prior to the initial session.  I was impressed with the information you were requesting that I fill out to make my session more productive.  However, the thing that most impressed me was how much I was able to get done in one 45 minute session with you!          I was trying to work on targeting a seminar that I was doing.  For weeks information was rattling around in my brain, but never made it into an organized outline.  In the first 15 minutes or so, you were able to help me pinpoint exactly what I wanted to say!  From there it was just a hop, skip and a jump to my completed seminar which I was able to write in just 30 minutes that evening.  This relieved me of the stress about that seminar and freed me to concentrate on other projects.          I remember thinking, before I even hung up the phone with you, that if I could accomplish so much in just 45 minutes, how much more could I accomplish by hiring you to be my coach on a regular basis?  Well, I found out!  Each session with you is an enlightening experience as you gently ask poignant questions, restate what you hear me saying and guide me to a better understanding of what I am capable of.  You have such a soft way about you!   It takes a unique combination of talents and skills to do what you do for others and I love that it comes from a Christian perspective!          I would not be as successful as I am if it were not for the day that the Lord led me to your website!  Thank you, Charmaine, for keeping me focused and on the path the Lord has me to follow!   JoJo Tabares The Art of Eloquence Christian-Based Communication Studies for Homeschoolers Author of Say What You Mean A Communication Study for Jr/Sr High Students http://www.artofeloquence.com/
